As Evie has exceeded goals and expectations, we’re seeing a quicker incline toward repairs, parts, asset replacement, and other costs needed to support the Evie Community Carshare service. As a result, we will be adjusting rates now and in the coming years ahead to cover the costs and avoid more dramatic price changes as time progresses.
Effective March 4, 2024, new rates for all Evie Carshare trips will be billed at the below rates:

Yes, this price change is only impacting the Evie Carshare Service. HOURCARs pricing will remain as-is.
Utilization of our services is much higher than expected. Where this is a great sign for sustainable transportation, it also means there is an increase of maintenance needs on our vehicles. Costs to operate and repair our vehicles have also risen significantly due to inflation and other factors. As such, we are adjusting prices to ensure our vehicles stay available for you to use.
All members who leave an Evie properly charing at your local EV Spot Charger will receive a $4 Drive Credit towards their next trip within the next 60 days. All Drive Credit expires 60 days after application and is automatically applied to trip costs until used or expired. Drive Credit cannot be applied to taxes, fees or transferred to another member.
